Along with Mate 20 Pro, Huawei also announced Mate 20 X, this phone comes with a 7.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2244 pixels. Semantics aside, it’s a flat OLED panel with 1,080 x 2,244px resolution and a teardrop notch. The X is a mix of Pro and non-Pro features in more ways than one. Huawei is also targeting Samsung’s Note flagships with the introduction of the M-Pen. The stylus can sense up to 4,096 levels of pressure. If large-screen note-taking appeals to you, you’ll have to buy the M-Pen separately, though, and there’s no slot for it in the phone. It also offers expandable storage in the form of a new “namomemory card,” a flash memory format that’s the size of a nano-SIM. Mate 20 Pro has three cameras on the back and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display. The Mate 20 Pro is the first device from Huawei to use the very latest Kirin 980 chipset, which has not one, but two neural network computing (NPU) processors. And it can even wirelessly charge other devices and phones.
